High-strength micro-glassfiber papers with a special thermoplastic bonding system and hydrophobic coating are used as filter media.
Our thermal embossing process, with its optimum V-shaped pleat geometry, ensures full utilization of the filtering area and uniform dust deposition.
The low average pressure drop, i.e. a very slow increase in the pressure drop, ensures a long useful lifetime, with cost-efficient and reliable operation.
The leak-proof casting of the dimensionally stable pleat pack in the distortion-resistant plastic frame results in outstanding bursting strength as well as high security against dust penetration.

With the modular clip-on system, MaxiPleat filters of different filter classes and depths can be combined by simple plug-on or with a coalescer prefilter. This allows an additional filter stage to be inserted without structural modification.

Cassette filters are classified as depth-loading filters (like pocket filters, HEPA filters and filter mats). Typical of cassette filters is the pleated (folded) shape of the filter media, which is intended to achieve the largest possible filter media area. The type and shape of pleating have a major impact on performance. In the case of the MaxiPleat MX 120 cassette filter, the thermal embossing process with the optimum V-shaped pleat geometry results in full utilization and uniform dust deposition on the filter area. Areas of application of MaxiPleat MX 120
MaxiPleat MX 120 cassette filters are used for supply, exhaust and recirculation air filtration in ventilation systems. They are used, for example, for the intake air filtration of gas turbines and compressors. They are used for industrial processes (such as chemical, pharmaceutical and food industries). MaxiPleat MX 120 cassette filters are also used in sophisticated air-conditioning technology or as "police filters" in dust removal technology.

The homogeneous medium velocity with low medium pressure drop, i.e. very slow pressure drop increase, allows a long lifetime with economical operation. Another advantage of the MaxiPleat MX 120 cassette filters is the modular clip-on system. It offers the possibility of connecting different Viledon filter types with different filter efficiencies. This makes it possible to install an additional filter stage where installation space is limited.
