Applications
The ChemWatch Online Monitoring System measures and monitors the corrosivity of air in rooms via copper and silver sensors. Corrosivity is usually caused by acid gases such as H2S, SO2, SO3, Cl2, Cl2O, NOx, or NH3. The online monitoring system is suitable to measure corrosive gases in the range from low ppb to a maximum of 1 to 3 ppm. The sensors are consumed as they measure the corrosivity and thus need to be replaced from time to time. The corrosion rate is determined according to ANSI/ISA-71.04-2013.
Measurements
Corrosion rate (Copper and Silver).
Temperature.
Relative humidity.
Differential pressure (positive pressure).
