Applications
F 50 Pocket Filters are used for filtering intake, exhaust and recirculating air in air-conditioning systems with stringent requirements for robustness and cost-efficiency, such as in:

Features
- The filter media featured are high-performance nonwovens, produced in-house from non-breaking, synthetic-organic fibers.
- This ensures superlative durability, high arrestance, low pressure drop, long useful lifetimes and high cost-efficiency.
- F 50 cut energy costs and decrease CO2 emissions.
- F 50 pocket filters are free of glass fibers, non-corroding and microbiologically inactive.
- Maximized functional dependability thanks to the leakproof-welded configuration of the filter pockets, foam-sealed into a PUR front frame, with aerodynamically optimized welded-in spacers (long pocket filters only) and dimensionally stable construction of the filter element as a whole.
- Thanks to their shorter pockets, F 50 S filters offer a space-saving solution for units where the use of long-pocket filters would not be possible.

Pocket filters of the Compact F 50 series
Pocket filters (together with filter mats, cassette filters and HEPA filters) belong to the group of depth-loading filters. They are also used as prefilters or as a complete filter solution. The economical Compact F 50 product series from Viledon offers high clean air quality. Even in applications with extreme humidity or moisture, F 50 pocket filters are very reliable and dependable in operation.
Areas of application for the Compact F 50 series
Compact F 50 pocket filters are used in the intake, exhaust and recirculation filtration in air-conditioning systems. They are used, for example, in paint shops and industrial processes. Pocket filters of this series can also be used in sophisticated air-conditioning systems, for example in hospitals or airports. They are also used in the prefiltration of gas turbines and compressors.
Compact F 50 pocket filters and their advantages
Thanks to leakproof-welded filter pockets foam-sealed into a PUR front frame, pocket filters of the F 50 series have high functional reliability. Their high energy efficiency reduces energy costs and lowers CO2 emissions. The filter pockets are free of glass fibers and corrosion, and at the same time they are microbiologically inactive. Therefore they meet the requirements of VDI Guideline 6022 "Hygiene Requirements for HVAC systems and units". If the plant does not have enough space for long-pocket filters, F 50 S filters with shorter pockets are the optimum solution.
