Applications
Viledon MaxiPleat cassette filters offer maximized operational reliability and cost-efficiency for supply, exhaust and recirculated air filtration in ventilation systems, e.g.in intake air filtration for gas turbines and compressors
in industrial processes (chemicals, pharmaceuticals, foods and beverages, optics, electronics, surface treatment, etc.)

Features
High-strength micro-glassfiber papers with a special thermoplastic bonding system and hydrophobic coating are used as filter media.
Our thermal embossing process, with its optimum V-shaped pleat geometry, ensures full utilization of the filtering area and uniform dust deposition.
The low average pressure drop, i.e. a very slow increase in the pressure drop, ensures a long useful lifetime, with cost-efficient and reliable operation.
The leak-proof casting of the dimensionally stable pleat pack in the distortion-resistant plastic frame results in outstanding bursting strength as well as high security against dust penetration.
Upon request available with an optional water barrier.
With the modular clip-on system, MaxiPleat filters of different filter classes and depths can be combined by simple plug-on or with a coalescer prefilter. This allows an additional filter stage to be inserted without structural modification.

Cassette filters are depth-loading filters (as well as filter mats, pocket filters and HEPA filters). For the largest possible filter media area, the filter media are used in pleated (folded) form. The stable construction of MaxiPleat cassette filters from Viledon provides continuous reliable operation, even under extreme conditions.
Areas of application of MaxiPleat MX 85
MaxiPleat MX 85 cassette filters are used for supply, exhaust and recirculation filtration of air conditioning systems (including in the intake air filtration of gas turbines and compressors). It is also convincing in the fields of chemistry, optics, surface technology and many other industrial processes. MaxiPleat MX 85 cassette filters are also used in sophisticated air-conditioning technology (for example in airports or offices) or in dust removal technology as "police filters".
MaxiPleat MX 85 cassette filters and their advantages
MaxiPleat MX 85 cassette filters are extremely resilient and enable maximum operational reliability. The homogeneous media velocity with low average pressure drop achieves long lifetime with efficient and safe operation. Thanks to the modular clip-on system, different air filters can be combined with each other or connected to a coalescer prefilter. In this way, an additional filter stage can be integrated in a space-saving arrangement without the need for conversion. These 2-in-1 filter solutions prove their worth especially in plant situations with limited installation space.
