Applications

Viledon Compact pocket filters F 40 and F 45 are used for supply, exhaust and recirculating air filtration in all kinds of ventilation systems, such as:

  • in general air-conditioning applications

  • for ventilating machine rooms and production areas

  • for exhaust and recirculating air filtration in paint lines

  • as prefilters for fine and micro-filters in industrial processes (metal processing, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food and beverages, optics, electronics, etc.),

  • in ventilation and air conditioning technology, in paint lines /paint spray booths and for gas turbines and compressors.

Features

  • As filter media, we use our progressively structured high-performance nonwovens made in-house from tear-resistant synthetic organic fibers.

  • High separation capacity with low pressure drop, long service life and excellent cost-efficiency.

  • Maximized functional reliability thanks to the leak-proof welded configuration of the filter pockets, foamed-in polyurethane front frame.

  • Thanks to their shorter pockets, F 45 S filters offer a space-saving solution for plants where the use of long-pocket filters would not be possible.

  • F 45 R pocket filters with reversed filter media and hydrophobic finish offer excellent coalescing properties with a "front of filter" drainage effect. Therefore they are ideally suited for applications where filters are exposed to constant water spray or fogging.

Pocket filters are usually used in ventilation systems. They are classified as depth-loading filters (just like filter mats, cassette filters or HEPA filters). Pocket filters have proved their worth as a complete filtration solution, but can also be used only as prefilters. Viledon pocket filters of the Compact F 40 / F 45 series are reliable and robust. This makes them suitable for heavy coarse dust loadings, even at high air flow rates. Even in extremely moist or wet conditions, the pocket filters are safe and reliable in operation.

Areas of application for the Compact F 40 / F 45 series
The Compact F 40 / F 45 series is used for supply, exhaust and recirculating air filtration in a wide variety of ventilation systems, for example in general air-conditioning applications or for ventilating machine rooms and production areas. Pocket filters of this product series are also suitable for exhaust and recirculating air filtration in paint lines or as prefilters of fine and micro-filters in industrial processes. Other possible applications include ventilation systems, gas turbines and compressors.

Compact F 40 / F 45 pocket filters and their advantages
Leakproof-welded filter pockets  foam-sealed into a PUR front frame enable a high degree of functional reliability. In space-limited installations, F 45 S filters with shorter pockets offer the optimum solution. For applications with permanent contact to water spray or fogging, F 45 R reverse pocket filters with first-class coalescing properties are suitable.
