F 45 R reverse pocket filters offer excellent coalescing properties with a "front of filter" drainage effect. These filters are ideally suited for applications where filters are exposed to constant water spray or fogging.

Applications

Compact F 45 R reverse pockets are used as prefilters for fine and superfine filters in intake air filtration of 

  • gas turbines

  • turbo compressors

  • diesel- and/or gas engines

  • These filters are used in conjunction with a supporting cage.

Features

  • The reverse media's hydrophobic, progressively structured nonwoven composition allows for excellent coalescing properties thanks to "front of filter" drainage effect. Water droplets combine and drain down from the outside of the filter pockets.

  • Substantially reduced carry through of salt particles

  • Maximized functional reliability in terms of coalescing, dust handling and prefiltration lifetime even under constant water spraying or fogging

  • In confined spaces reverse-mounted pocket filters can simply be added to an existing filter wall as an additional filter stage

  • Self-cleaning properties thanks to reverse fit configuration
