Features
For installation, the MaxiPleat main filter (RB), with its black connecting pins, is inserted into the existing support system. The prefilter (RC) with the white connecting caps can now be simply plugged onto the already-installed main filter.
The connecting pins engaged in the main filter cannot be removed. The plugged-on prefilter can, however, be removed again and replaced.
Besides the standard version with 25 mm front frame thickness, the MaxiPleat main filters are also available with a 20.5 mm thick front frame, and are delivered with the connecting pins fitted.
An optional water barrier prevents intaken water from reaching the clean-air side. Foamed-on PU gasket upon request.

MaxiPleat main filter
Cassette filters are filter elements with filter panels enclosed in a frame. This frame is usually made of plastic, metal or wood. Cassette filters belong to the category of depth-loading filters. MaxiPleat cassette filters from Viledon enable reliable operation even under extreme conditions. This is ensured by their stable construction. The MaxiPleat main filters (RB) for the modular filter system are fitted with black connecting pins. This makes it easy to attach and replace the prefilter. This makes it possible to integrate a further filter stage without any conversions.

The Viledon MaxiPleat modular filter system is suitable for supply, exhaust and recirculating air filtration in ventilation systems where the requirements for clean air quality are high. The cassette filters used as main filters are ideal, especially where room capacity is limited and for extending the filter system by a further filter stage without conversion work. Their areas of application are, for example, in the intake air filtration of gas turbines and compressors, in industrial processes and in demanding air-conditioning technology.
MaxiPleat main filters and their advantages
The main filter is fitted with connecting pins, and the prefilter can now be attached to these pins. Thus it is also possible to change only the prefilter. MaxiPleat main filters are available not only in the standard version with a 25 mm thick front frame, but also with a 20.5 mm thick front frame. The inserted connecting pins are supplied with the filter. An optional water stop edge (with foamed-on PU seal if required) keeps water away from the clean air side. The operating performance of the main filters is safe, their lifetime is long. MaxiPleat filters are very economical and moisture-resistant up to 100% relative humidity. The Viledon MaxiPleat modular filter system also impresses with its simple installation.
