Many industrial processes generate contaminant gases that can cause corrosion. Freudenberg compact cabinet unit provides highly purified air to pressurize electronic enclosures which cannot be located in protected control rooms.

Applications
The Viledon ChemControl Cabinet Unit is a compact filter system for the control of corrosive gases in free-standing control cabinets. It provides highly purified air to pressurize electronic enclosures which cannot be located in protected control rooms. The purified air prevents the intrusion of contaminants, preventing corrosion of electronic equipment thus increasing the equipment’s life span and reliability.
The Cabinet Units may be mounted to the cabinet side walls or attached to one of the cabinet doors to replace existing ventilation fans. In addition, a remote mount and ducting to the control cabinet is possible.
Thanks to its small dimensions, the Cabinet Unit may also be installed inside well-sealed, non-ventilated control cabinets and operated in recirculation mode which makes it applicable to installations that won’t allow cabinet pressurization.
In addition, the integration of the ChemWatch online monitoring system enables precise and close monitoring of the corrosion rate within the control cabinet. This advanced technology also allows in-depth analysis of the consumption of the chemisorption filter, which helps to optimize operating processes.
Features
The Cabinet Unit system can be placed directly at the control cabinet to purify the air exactly at the place needed. They have an optimized footprint and handle low and medium concentration of various corrosive gases.
The Cabinet Units are equipped with a standard cabinet fan and a replaceable Honeycomb activated carbon module. Fan units are available in 12V, 24V, and 230 V, version.
For applications with high dust load, a pre-filtration stage made of a progressively structured nonwoven filter mat consisting of non-breaking synthetic-organic fibers can be installed.
Various adapters, holds, and flanges are available to fit the units to all kind of different cabinet types.
